Introduction
The School of Social Sciences at IARI comprises of the Division o f Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension, Centre of Agricultural Technology Assessment and Transfer ( CATAT ), Agricultural Technology Information Centre (ATIC). The students of the school strive for highest skills in areas of Agri-Business Management; Agricultural Marketing and Trade; Agricultural Development and Policy; Econometrics; Agricultural Finance and Policy Analysis, Ecosystem services valuation. They are also becoming proficient in conducting basic and strategic research in areas of Extension systems, Communication; Agricultural Journalism, Entrepreneurship Development; Program evaluation, and Extension management.
